Do you think you have what it takes to battle against some of the most powerful opponents in the Cosmos?
Available in the Clans section (which can be accessed at level 12), players have the option to battle against Odin, Amaterasu, Baphomet and Cernunnos who all have unique abilities and provide a variety of special rewards. The more damage you do, the greater the rewards you can obtain!
However, while there may be brave souls who are ready to raise their weapons to defeat a Raid Boss on their own, defeating one typically requires a team effort! Work together with your mightiest Clan to take down these formidable foes. Each individual player will need to inflict damage until the Raid Boss health bar is depleted.
Each Raid Boss battle has 10 dungeon levels of escalating difficulty, with each level offering a new challenge. Facing off against these bosses will earn you Raid Points which determine what weekly Raid Boss Rewards your Clan will quality for. Rewards are given once a week (Tuesday at midnight UTC), after which your Raid Boss points will be reset.

To the victor go the spoils!
Odin
The God of War, Ruler of Asgard and great all-father, Odin is known as one of the most notorious gods in Norse mythology and is traditionally depicted as an incredibly wise, one-eyed old man. Whilst he is known as the God of War, he chose to rule with more magic and cunning. He ended up sacrificing one of his eyes in exchange for wisdom and would often travel to other worlds in his never-ending quest for knowledge disguised in a blue cloak and wide-brimmed hat.
Odin was married to Frigg, the Goddess of Motherhood and Fertility, and had 4 sons named Thor, Balder, Hodr and Vali. He had many titles including the God of Poetry and Wisdom, and the God of War and Death. He kept two pet wolves named Geri and Freki. Like his ravens, Huginn and Muninn, it is said they haunted the battlefields and feasted upon the dead. The Vikings believed those who fought bravely and died in battle would feast with Odin, as he possessed the souls of slain warriors, and the other fallen heroes in the halls of Valhalla. He was a stern warrior god, and could start wars on Earth by throwing his magical spear, Gungnir. He also had the unique ability to decide who won battles, and it was believed this is why he was worshiped so much by the Vikings.
Odin was an exceptionally powerful ruler. In Legacy of the Beast, our team's design was intended to make him feel battle worn and at the end of his time. A god with regrets who is looking to fall in a final, meaningful battle with a worthy opponent. Will that be you?
Specialty
Odin's Talisman disabling Fury attack, and an increased chance of Critical Strikes with each action.
Tips
Do anything you can to stop Odin from being able to use his Fury. Bringing characters that have the ability to take extra turns will help!

Baphomet
Baphomet is a demon-deity that originated in the 14th century as a symbol of balance in various mystical traditions. Éliphas Lévi, who created the modern conception of Baphomet, was a French occultist, poet, and author of more than 20 books on magic, alchemy studies, and occultism. He depicted Baphomet as half-human, half-animal, both male and female, and both good and evil. His intention was to symbolize balance as well as perfect social order.
In his book; Dogmas and Rituals of High Magic, Lévi published his picture of Baphomet referring to him as the "Sabbatic Goat", which inspired Baphomet's current incarnation.
In Legacy of the Beast, you can battle against this ancient god who grew his powerbase through the recruitment of worshipers and sacrifices in his cult. Our team's inspiration for Baphomet's dungeon is largely influenced by the Paradise Club and Night City, as the back rooms of dark alley clubs and secret society temples are where he feeds off of the despair and desire for anarchy from lost souls.
Specialty
Prevents extra turns and stops your team from healing. His attacks do not wake sleeping enemies.
Tips
Try to load him up with the Negative Effects he is not immune to (Silence, Bleed, Heal Block etc.)

Amaterasu
Amaterasu is an illustrious sun goddess that originated from the Shinto religion in Japan. She is queen of the kami and ruler of the universe. Her presence would bring happiness everywhere and she maintained a heavenly garden where birds chirped cheerfully and flowers blossomed. Amaterasu had a mischievous younger brother named Susanoo, a storm deity that would often torment her. One day when Amaterasu was away, Susanno blew tremendously strong winds in her garden. This caused a chaotic mess, as trees fell and plants became uprooted. This incident upset Amatearasu to where she retreated to a cave behind a heavy stone door.
Japan became blanketed in darkness. There was no sun for weeks, and the world fell into depression. The other gods wanted to bring her back, and to do this they decided to trick her by dancing, laughing, and playing loud music to help draw her out of her cave. A mirror was then hung outside of her cave, and after hearing all of the noise Amaterasu came out to see what was the cause for such a loud celebration. She was told there was a new sun goddess. This made Amaterasu curious, which caused her to come completely out of her cave. The mirror caught her attention, and as she looked into it she didn't realize it was her own reflection. While she remained distracted, one of the gods blocked the cave while another was able to return Amaterasu back to the outside world and once again the angelic sun goddess' presence was able to illuminate life back into Japan.
In Legacy of the Beast, Amaterasu's clothes were inspired by her celestial imagery, and as a sun goddess our team focused on creating sun and radiance based abilities, with emphasis on the Exalted status to represent her divine grace. When battling this deity, you'll notice her defensive capabilities revolve around phases of the sun across the sky, such as Dawn / Dusk, Day and Moonlight giving Amaterasu various immunities and powers.
Specialty
For Amaterasu, variety truly is the spice of life. She cycles between three states, each with different effects that can prevent you from healing, reviving, or can silence one of your team members.
Tips
Stack Damage Over Time effects (like Bleed) on Amaterasu to chip away at her health.

Cernunnos
Cernunnos, which in Celtic means Horned One, is a powerful deity who is widely worshipped as "lord of the wild things". In Celtic art their physical form is depicted as wearing a crown of stag antlers and accompanied by a ram-horned serpent (a deity in its own right).
Early depictions often had Cernunnos with animal subjects and free-growing fruits and vegetables as their bounty. Often the gathering of animals included elk, wolves and snakes. It was believed these gatherings were a testament to Cernunnos' ability to bring natural enemies into peaceful communion with each other. This is what defines Cernunnos also as a protector and provider deity, worshipped by hunters and rural tribes.
Our team pulled a lot of inspiration from Celtic mythology for Cenunnos’s design and abilities with the goal to create a raid boss with strong protective and defensive abilities who could also annihilate their enemies. While raid bosses such as Amaterasu were more about devastating opponents by using high damage output and burn effects, Cernunnos was designed to focus more on safeguarding their team while gathering their power from nature and unleashing unique abilities and attacks. As Lord of the Animals, the theme was focused on beasts that coexist together and the wildlands.
Specialty
Relies on Might to power up their attacks to devastating effect.
Tips
Bring characters who can hit multiple times to remove Gaea’s Ward quickly.
